Roger Federer and Serena Williams were announced as the International Tennis Federation’s World Champions for 2009. This isn’t Roger first time winning this award it is is 5th time. As for Serena this is her second time winning the award. Serena also won the award in doubles with her sister Venus Williams. The last person to accomplish such a feat was non other than Martina Navratilova who is known for both her singles and doubles play.

But we forget that he is human and he can’t win everything. Both players were clearly the best players of 2009 but 2010 could be a bumpy road. » Read more: Roger and Serena Are The 2009 ITF Champions
